The perfect age to introduce technology to students
Everyday technology has become a necessity in our society because all the things we use at home or at work are inmmerse with technology.
In my opinion, technology has to be shown since children can manage it.
I have observed that children enjoy the use of technology, and at the same time they use it naturally. They just sit infront of the computer and began to use it.
I remember that when I was a child technology was taught until you have nine years old, but now children start using computers since they are three years old.
As you can see, children have more advantages because they are not afraid about the use of technology. Nowadays, children can show you things that you don´t know.
Remember that if you teach technology to children as soon as you can you are offering multiple benefits for them. Maybe in the future this help them to be more confident at the moment to be hired in a company.
You can develop the interest to start a carrer based in technology. This kind of areas help our world to improve different thins.
There are not a certain age to introduce technology, but remember that children are good learners. They learn quickly.

Teachers upload the required material for students.
Teachers select the time for classes, quizes or homework.
Disadvantages:
Not all students have a computer at home. So, they must spend money in the cyber.
Some students have problems when using the computer because they have low signal.
Some students do not realize that there is an online class for a determinated day.
Regular classes are good because the majority of students assist to the class, and write the information that their teachers provide.
All students are accustomed to receive normal classes at school and universities.
Advantages of having regular classes:

Advantages and Disadvantages of youtube
Firt we need to know what YouTube is. You tube is a video-sharing website which users can upload, view and share videos.
Youtube uses Adobe Flash Video and HTML5 technology to display a wide variety of user-generated and corporate media video content, including video clips, TV clips, and music videos, and amateur content such as video blogging, short original videos, and educational videos, In our case this is the more important advantage to use this tool because we want to share with our students different and original videos.
Also we can recommend some channels for having an extra explanation about different subjects and topics. Students can look for extra explanation by themselfs. They just type what they are looking for to have the most appropiate video.
Unregistered users can watch almost any kind of videos, and registered users can upload an unlimited number of videos. This is great because you do not need to pay for it. It is for free.
Videos considered to contain potentially offensive content are available only to registered users affirming themselves to be at least 18 years old. This is a disadvantage because you cannot have control on teenagers while they watch inappropiate videos, sometimes there are videos in which people expose violence. This affect peoples mind, but we cannot avoid that they watch them, unless you are sure they have parental control at home.
Advantages :
Fast and easy video sharing
Privacy features
Quick access to various videos
Safe browsing
Easy rating and feedback system
Disadvantages :
No parental control
Limited copyright infringement notices
Video length is limited to 10 minutes
No restriction on comments (language, racial slurs, violent threats)
Video size is limited to 1024 MB
As we can observ youtube is a nice tool, but we need to be careful when using it.
Hot Potatoes as a tool to teach children, teenagers, and adults !
Nowadays, technology has provided many tools to improve education at school.
One of the advantages of using technology is that we can implement it with children, teenagers and adults.
Hot potatoes is a great tool for creating online quizes and activities for students. Teachers just need to learn how to use it. This tool is practical because hot potatoes has their own format to create the exams.
Teachers type the information in the correct spaces, and the program makes the rest.
Hot potatoes can be used for all kind of learners. What teachers must do is:
to adaptate the kind of information, images, instructions, and so on.
I have learned that children, teenagers and adults enjoy lessons if you teach them implementing any kind of technology. They feel more relaxed at the moment of developing this kind of activities.
You as a teacher can provide a clue to help them to remember a piece of information.
You can variate your activities by using this tool because you select the kind of quiz you need for your students, or you select the more convenient for your studebts.

Pollution
Quiz
Pollution
Pollution is the introduction of contaminants into the natural environment that cause adverse change.[1] Pollution can take the form of chemical substances or energy, such as noise, heat or light. Pollutants, the components of pollution, can be either foreign substances/energies or naturally occurring contaminants. Pollution is often classed as point source or nonpoint source pollution.
Pollution prevention is an exceptionally major global concern because of the harmful effects of pollution on the person’s health and on the environment. Environmental pollution comes in various forms, such as: air pollution, water pollution, soil pollution, etc..
Everyone is a stakeholder as we are all inhabitants of this one and only mother earth. Each person has something to contribute to advance an effective pollution prevention awareness initiatives. Environmental protection is caring for ourselves, loving our children and ensuring a sustainable future for generations to come.
How do I learn about environmental conditions in my community?
MyEnvironment is a mapping tool that features a wide range of information about environmental conditions in an area of your choice. Enter your zip code, address, or a nearby water body, and MyEnvironment will show you sites nearby that report to EPA the storage, handling or emission of pollutants into land, air or water. It offers refined searching by industry (such as manufacturing), media (emissions to land, air or water), pollutant, or geographic location.
Environmental Organizations
Earth Island Institute works for solutions to environmental problems by promoting citizen action and incubating a diverse network of projects
National Wildlife Federation - The nation's largest member-supported conservation group, uniting individuals, organizations, businesses and government to protect wildlife, wild places, and the environment.
The most effective way to stop plastic pollution in our oceans is to make sure it never reaches the water in the first place. We all need to do our fair share to stop plastic pollution: individuals need to recycle and never litter, but producers of single use plastic packaging need to do more too. We need producers to design packaging so that it is fully recyclable, and so there is less waste. We also need producers to help cover the costs of keeping their products out of the ocean.
Application of pollution control methods has demonstrated considerable effectiveness in controlling pollution problems - particularly those of a local character. Application of appropriate technologies is based on a systematic analysis of the source and nature of the emission or discharge in question, of its interaction with the ecosystem and the ambient pollution problem to be addressed, and the development of appropriate technologies to mitigate and monitor pollution impacts.
Plastic Pollution Coalition Strategic Goals
To achieve its mission, Plastic Pollution Coalition has defined the following strategic goals:
End the global dependence on disposable plastic, the primary source of plastic pollution;
Reduce the overall global plastic footprint for individuals, businesses and organizations.
AIR POLLUTION
Air pollution brings to mind visions of smokestacks billowing black clouds into the sky, but this pollution comes in many forms. The burning of fossil fuels, in both energy plants and vehicles, releases massive amounts of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, causing climate change.
Toxic chemicals
Chemicals have made much of modern life possible, but they’ve also contaminated landscapes around the world. They can travel great distances by air or accumulate in the bodies of animals and humans who absorb chemicals through the skin or ingest them in food or water.
